The 2024 Honda Prologue was first announced last year and since then, we have been receiving more and more information not only on the Honda Prologue SUV itself, but also on Honda's upcoming electric vehicle strategy. The Honda Prologue which was fully revealed in October of 2022 will be the first fully electric Honda vehicle and will feature a bold new design language and a vast and welcoming interior combined with the most advanced EV technology available.
The 2024 Prologue will be a mid-size electric SUV that in terms of size slots between the Honda CR-V and the Honda Pilot. It’s similar in size to the Honda Passport in terms of exterior dimensions, although it sits lower for a more dynamic stance. It’s also longer overall. The goal of Honda designers was to give the Prologue a very sporty overall look that is also refined and elegant. The new Prologue features a panoramic sunroof and 21-inch wheels as well, while also featuring unique design touches such as illuminated Honda lettering on the rear light bar.
According to Honda, the new 2024 Honda Prologue will feature 2,900 L of interior space and it will come with a standard fully digital 11-inch driver display screen and 11.3-inch centre display touchscreen. Under its long sculpted hood, we will either find an extra cargo area or components of the electrical system. Honda hasn't provided too many details on the electric powertrain that will power the new Prologue, but we know the new model as well as all subsequent Honda electric vehicles will be built on the new e:architecture which was developed to underpin future Honda EVs.
There will be multiple Honda electric vehicles, in fact. Honda hopes to sell 2 million electric vehicles worldwide by the end of the decade and will begin producing more electric vehicles in 2026. The upcoming Honda Prologue will be unveiled next year. Give us a call today to learn more.
